Piunguałaq and Tooma Laisa represented Nunavut at Pan-ArcticVision 2026 in Tórshavn, carrying katajjaq, qilaujjaq and pisiit onto a Faroese stage and a broadcast streamed live across the Arctic. They performed Kiviuq, a drum song about the legendary Inuk who travelled across Inuit Nunangat. They were selected through a live audition in partnership with Alianait Arts Festival in Iqaluit.

An audience of 400 in the hall, together with viewers voting online across the Arctic, gave them the award for the song that gives the most feeling of community and togetherness.

Pan-ArcticVision is a song contest for the circumpolar North, owned and organised by Nordting and funded in part by the Norwegian Arts Council. The 2026 edition was held at Norðurlandahúsið, the Nordic House in Tórshavn, and gathered artists from ten Arctic communities.
