Katajjausiit

Katajjausiit are traditional songs truly unique to Canadian Arctic women. The songs are timeless and have been sung for millennia - influencing spirits and weather, lulling children to sleep, entertaining community members, and keeping warm through unforgiving arctic winters.

Iva and Angu were nominated for Traditional Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year at Juno Awards of 2022.
